Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 9, 2026
This page explains what data we collect when you visit greenco.build, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how to opt out. It covers the website only, not in-person meetings, phone calls, or work performed under a separate contract.
Who we are
Green & Co. Building Group LLC, a construction company based in Pollok, Texas, serving East Texas and Greater Houston. You can reach us at info@greenco.build for any privacy question or request.
What we collect automatically
When you visit a page, and only after you accept analytics in our cookie banner, our analytics tools record:
- Your IP address, which gives us your approximate city, not your exact location
- The browser and device you are using
- The pages you visit and how you got here (a search engine, a link, an ad, or directly)
- Anonymous identifiers stored in cookies, used to tell one visit apart from another
- A recording of how you moved through the page (cursor movement, clicks, scrolling), used to improve the site. Anything you type, including form fields, is automatically masked and is never recorded.
What we collect when you contact us
If you fill out the estimate request form on the site, we collect the information you enter: your name, phone number, email address (optional), the type of project, and any details you choose to share. We also record:
- The IP address the request was sent from, which we use to help prevent spam and abuse.
- If you reached us by clicking one of our ads, the ad click identifier and campaign details (for example a Google “gclid” and UTM tags), so we can measure which ads lead to real inquiries.
We use this information only to respond to your request, follow up about your project, and understand which of our ads work. Each request is stored on our website and sent to our business email so we can reach you. We use trusted service providers to host this site and deliver that email; they handle your request only on our behalf and under our instructions. We do not sell your request or share it with advertisers.
If you tap a phone or email link instead, your device opens its own phone or email app. You choose what to send; the link itself does not collect anything.
Why we collect it
To respond to estimate requests, to understand how visitors use the site, to fix problems, and to measure which of our ads and calls lead to real inquiries so we can advertise responsibly. We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising
We run Google Ads to reach people looking for a builder in our area. When you arrive from one of our ads and have accepted advertising cookies, Google helps us measure which ads led to an estimate request or a phone call. For calls, Google may briefly show a forwarding phone number in place of ours to count the call as a result of an ad; your call still reaches us directly. This measurement runs only if you accept “Advertising” in the cookie banner, and never if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal (see Your rights).
Tools we use
- Google Analytics 4 for traffic and engagement. Measurement ID
G-M79CVK80EM. Google’s privacy practices: policies.google.com/privacy. - Google Ads for advertising measurement and call tracking. Same Google privacy policy as above. Ad personalization controls: adssettings.google.com.
- Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session replay. Microsoft’s privacy practices: privacy.microsoft.com.
- Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our estimate form from spam and abuse. It checks that your browser is genuine; it does not set advertising cookies or share your information with advertisers. Cloudflare’s privacy practices: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- Google Search Console for indexing and search performance. Same Google privacy policy as above.
Cookies and your choices
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept cookies for Analytics and Advertising. Nothing but strictly necessary site function runs until you choose. You can accept all, decline, or pick which to allow, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it automatically and skip all non-essential cookies without showing the banner.
With your consent, the site sets these cookies:
_gaand_ga_G-M79CVK80EM, set by Google Analytics to tell visitors apart, expire after up to 13 months._gid, also from Google Analytics, expires after 24 hours._gcl_auand related_gcl/_gaccookies, set by Google Ads, used to measure ad conversions. Expire after about 90 days._clck,_clsk, and related Microsoft identifiers (such asCLID), set by Microsoft Clarity, used to link page interactions within a session. Expire after up to 1 year.
These providers may set additional related cookies for the same purposes described above. All of them load only after you accept the matching category in our banner.
How long we keep it
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, then automatically deleted. Microsoft Clarity retains data for up to 12 months. Estimate requests you send us are kept as long as we need them to serve you and for our business records, and you can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your rights
You can:
- Email info@greenco.build to ask what we hold, request a copy, correct it, or ask us to delete it.
- Decline or withdraw cookie consent using the banner or the “Cookie Settings” footer link.
- Send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser. If your browser sends one, we automatically treat it as an opt-out of sale and targeted advertising and do not load analytics or advertising for you, as Texas law requires.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the official browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
- Opt out of Microsoft Clarity by following the instructions at privacy.microsoft.com.
- Set your browser to reject cookies, in which case our analytics and advertising measurement will not run for your session.
Texas residents (under the TDPSA)
If you are a Texas resident, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives you the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal data, and access that data.
- Correct inaccuracies in the data we hold about you.
- Delete personal data we hold about you.
- Obtain a portable copy of the data you provided.
- Opt out of the sale of personal data, of targeted advertising, and of profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do not sell personal data (for money or for other valuable consideration), and we do not use your data to make automated decisions about you. We do use Google Ads, which may count as targeted advertising; you can opt out by declining “Advertising” in our cookie banner, by sending a Global Privacy Control signal, or through the Google Ads settings linked above.
- Appeal a refusal to act on a request, by emailing info@greenco.build with “TDPSA appeal” in the subject line.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@greenco.build. We will respond within the time the law allows, and we will not require you to create an account to do so.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent change.
